An hour of skillful care in a welcoming facility. She accommodated my painful areas and reduced my pain. Very grateful. Highly recommended.

Caroline Harris, LMT
Founder of Conscious Touch. A former student of psychology and a professional dancer, she came to bodywork through movement — and after 15+ years of practice, still works from that view of it.
Movement first, then the hands
Throughout her career Caroline has gained a holistic view of the benefits of body movement in relation to the discipline of the mind, and how that allows a person to stay focused, centered and whole.
She studied at the Spa Tech Institute in Westborough, MA, where she learned the art and science of massage and polarity therapy — 600 hours of training, developing expertise in therapeutic massage, relaxation massage and polarity therapy. She went on to add Traditional Thai massage, CranioSacral therapy and Shirodhara, and integrates cupping into sessions to treat congested areas of the body.
With every session, Caroline and her team incorporate spiritual energy and heart into their techniques to maximize the effects of therapeutic touch.
Our mission is to facilitate personal awareness for the achievement of full health potential: balancing body, mind and spirit. We teach our clients to observe their body and emotions daily, replacing judgement with love, honor and acceptance.

Trained in
Six disciplines, one session
Most treatments draw on more than one of these. What you get depends on what you walk in with.
-
Therapeutic massage
The clinical half of the work: what is tight, what is compensating, and what to do about it.
-
Relaxation massage
The other half. Sometimes the nervous system is the thing that needs treating.
-
Polarity therapy
Energy work learned alongside the anatomy, at the Spa Tech Institute in Westborough.
-
Traditional Thai massage
Assisted yoga on a floor mat — stretches, compressions and acupressure, fully clothed.
-
CranioSacral therapy
Very light contact along the head, neck and spine. Often the answer for migraines.
-
Shirodhara & cupping
Added over the years, and folded into sessions where a congested area calls for them.
